The bride prepared in the villa’s bright, modern interiors of Markakis Estate, joined by her closest family and the little girls of the family. The ceremony took place in a small, ancient Greek Orthodox church adorned with historical frescoes. Over 80 guests, many traveling from New York and California, gathered to witness the couple’s vows. The Winery Reception
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to a local winery, fully rented for the occasion. Guests were welcomed with a wine-tasting experience that introduced them to Crete’s rich flavors.
