Winter Vow Renewal in Cretan Olive Groves Jackie & Joshua

Jackie & Joshua met 10 years ago through work and their love has been only growing stronger, year by year! The milestone of 10 years of happy life together deserved a special celebration and a vow renewal in Crete seemed like the perfect way to go about it! Having visited our beautiful island before, they knew that Crete with its unique energy and picturesque landscapes will provide the perfect atmosphere for their special day!

The nature of their work had Jackie & Joshua choosing winter travelling instead of summer vacations, so when they came to Crete in February, the quiet off-season vibe was something they were used to. Above that, our island greeted the couple with a unique after-Christmas atmosphere that our team embraced as a theme of their vow renewal in Crete, decorating the venue with fairy-lights and fresh citruses, the smell of which is so typical for Cretan winter! The citrus theme was also conveyed through the floral arrangements in different shades of delightful orange and peach colours.

The vow renewal ceremony took place in a historical hidden gem in the middle of vast olive groves. To the touching speech of our Master of Ceremony, Jackie and Joshua toasted with Cretan raki and lit sparklers that signified the completion of this vow renewal ceremony.

After this pure moment, the couple, accompanied by our photographer, headed to the Old Harbour of Chania, where they continued the photo shoot to the rough winter waters of Mediterranean.
