Planning an elopement across an ocean seemed daunting until we contacted Crete for Love. Anna immediately replied to us (while on her vacation) and I instantly knew we had found the right people! Throughout the months prior, everyone was very easy to reach and communicate with. I felt completely confident arriving in another country that everything would be taken care of. However, I was surprised that they surpassed my expectations when we arrived.

We always knew we didn’t want to get married in the UK, & with Crete’s sunny weather we searched the internet for wedding planners to see if it would be the place for us.

We had the best response from Anna who advised she could help plan a beach ceremony & suggested the Gardens for the reception. We’d never been before & put our complete faith in her after reading all the great comments from other couples & reading about the gardens…..This was the best decision ever! On our pre wedding trips to Crete they visited venues and suppliers again with us to ensure all the details were correct and we were 100% happy. We had our wedding in Chania, Crete and that was the most incredible experience for us and our family. We had a small beach wedding but it felt like a fairytale! ❤️ Huge thanks for our head planner Stavriani, who was here for us 24/7, everything was so well organised and stress-free! Not only ceremony but also our holidays! So happy that we have chosen Crete for Love – good, warm, friendly but professional people! Highly recommended❣️

CFL were just fabulous. They agreed to help us fairly late in the day when we thought we had arranged the venue. The team ended up going way over and above their brief and fixing so many issues for us, including sourcing an alternative venue when our initial one dropped out – as well as foreseeing issues we didn’t even consider!

I would thoroughly recommend using a wedding planner (in case you are in doubt) and specifically using Stavriani and her team at CFL. They really made our wedding day better than we could have hoped for and ensured that it was delivered on budget. They have excellent supplier contracts (we used their lighting, flowers, decorators, caterers and fireworks suppliers) they all far exceeded exceptions. If you are unsure whether it is worth it, then I can wholeheartedly say CFL were completely worth it and the best decision we made throughout the whole process! Our wedding was in a remote Cretan location (everything had to come in on a boat) and we had 120 guests and they managed it perfectly.

We will always be grateful for the perfect day that Anna and her team created for us. From day one we knew Crete for Love was not like other wedding planners, they took the time to understand what we had wanted for our special day, and they captured that so perfectly. We had so many compliments from our guests, from the flowers, cake, hair and make up to the food and location, some even said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Me and partner both live and work in New York. We always want to have a destination wedding in Greece.
