As our wedding was in Crete and we are located overseas, we decided to opt out for a local planner, and we were lucky to find Anna. She kept us organized, kept notes of all details we requested, provided invaluable advice on key points essential during the process. Even though I always heard people say “nothing goes as planned during wedding”, our wedding was extremely smooth and everything happened as planned!

Hiring Anna, the owner of Crete For Love, is probably the best decision I made for my wedding (besides the dress!). She made our experience so easy, enjoyable, and absolutely lovely (especially the day of the wedding!).

Her team did a great job addressing some concerns, we had some cultural differences we needed some help with. She was incredibly understanding, compassionate, and supportive. Really felt like my number one go to throughout the entire process. She did a great job meeting us half way in regards to budget, really helping us realize what was practical and unnecessary to achieve our dream wedding. She was also understanding when family members tried to intervene and ask for last minute requests. All in all, your wedding planner should be your friend and number one alliance throughout the entire process, and Anna did well above and beyond. Where do I begin?! Anna, her husband & their entire team were beyond amazing! From the tiniest detail to the very biggest, everything was executed to perfection and was more than we could’ve hoped for 🙂 Planning a wedding is hard enough, but planning one abroad is doubly as stressful, Anna made everything so easy and calmed our (mainly mine lol) wedding jitters. The location was beautiful and everything came together so amazingly! We fell in love with Greece and are already planning another trip back!

How can I possible put into words how amazingly wonderful Crete for Love is? Well to start, Anna, the planner, is organized, creative, timely and supportive. My husband and I had this crazy idea of having a destination wedding, which can be extremely stressful, but Anna took all that stress away with her advice, suggestions and calming words. Andreas, the photographer, was able to capture our magical experience with every photo he took. He showed so much creativity with locations and poses.

Choosing Crete for Love to bring our elopement to life was one of the best decisions we made when it came to getting married.

Ana was attentive to every single detail. We are from Canada so the set up of the entire thing was co-ordinated entirely through email. If we are being honest that part made us a little nervous. Even though Ana was very precise on all the details via email, we were nervous about how it was all going to all come together.

I have to say, everything exceeded our expectations BIG TIME.

When we arrived in Crete we had an in person meeting with Ana to finalize all the details and run through the logistics of the day. She was beyond kind, going out of her way to ensure every detail, question and concern was addressed and resolved. She made us feel very welcomed, taken care of and excited for the big day.
The day of our wedding we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY with how it all came together. The setup was better and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, it felt like we were in a movie.
Andreas was phenomenal in terms of photography and getting us to feel comfortable in front of the camera with his superb art direction.
The actual ceremony itself was everything we wanted with all the personalized touches perfectly timed and in place.

Honestly the whole day felt like a dream and there was no way it could have been possible without Ana and Andreas.   We couldn’t recommend their services enough and will forever be grateful for the way they made our Crete wedding so unforgettable.
